Thinkware F790 (2 Channel)

The Thinkware F790 (2 Channel) dash camera uses the CMOS Imaging Sensor to allow the dash camera to record clean & crisp 1080p Full HD footage, even at night time via its Super Night Vision 3.0 technology.

The F790 features an intergrated mount and power supply, making the removal of the camera quick and simple. Full of extra features such as Advanced Parking Mode with Energy Saving 2.0 and Time Lapse technology, to keep you protected longer, and built-in GPS giving you access to multiple helpful aspects such as the speed camera database.

Rear Camera

If you are looking to further increase your protection, you can simply add a rear camera to most of Thinkware’s front facing main units.

The rear camera simply fits to your ear window and looks backwards, this plugs into the front unit via the supplied cable and then all footage is recorded on the front cameras Micro SD card.

Thinkware Dash Cam Link App

The camera’s built-in Wi-Fi allows it to connect to the Dash Cam Link App, letting you easily view, download, delete or share footage directly from your smartphone.

High Definition Video Quality

CMOS Image Sensors allow crisp clean Full 1080p HD footage recording during both day and night at 30FPS. Capture more detail in all road conditions including number plates of other drivers.

The 140º wide angle lens view will minimise blind spots to assure recording of all events without fail.

Super Night Vision 3.0

Record night time drives with true colours and minimal noise thanks to Thinkware’s latest advancements in low-light recording technology that surpasses its predecessors’ night time performance. The dash camera uses a combination of Digital Overlap High Dynamic Range (DOL HDR) and Noise Reduction technology to effectively reduce noise and lens flare that typically affect night time footage.

Dewarping Video Technology

Dewarping technology allows the F790’s front camera to deliver a close-to-real picture of the vehicle’s front view with minimal distortion.

High-Efficiency Video Coding Format

High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) compresses high-resolution videos by streaming at low bit rates to minimise storage costs.

HEVC has a compression rate of 1.7 times higher than the standard Advanced Video Coding format in dash cameras. Hence, you get outstanding video quality with less consumption of memory space.

Parking Surveillance Mode

Parking Mode is a feature of dash cameras that are hardwired. This allows them to continue recording while your car is parked and turned off. All Thinkware dash camera continuously monitor the health of the vehicle’s battery and will shut down if it detects any issues.

Time Lapse Parking Mode

Catch any potential bumps, scrapes and other incidents by recording footage from your vehicle when you are not nearby. Time Lapse Mode records at 2 frames per second (FPS) to reduce the side of the video file. This allows the dash camera to record longer than other dash camera whilst in parking mode.

Energy Saving Mode 2.0

The improved energy mode further reduces power consumption and provides even longer video recording than our original energy-saving and parking modes. When you are away from your car for an extended period of time, energy saving parking recording is a recommended solution.

When in use, the device will go to sleep and after an impact has been detected by the built-in G-sensor, it will wake up within a second and start recording for the next 20 seconds.

GPS Mapping

With GPS, all Thinkware dash camera can record the vehicle’s driving speed and provide its precise location and routes identification on the map. The GPS Tracker helps you to accurately assess the details of the surrounding area. The PC/MAC viewer can then provide you with the vehicle speed and the time of a collision, and the severity of any impacts.

PC/Mac Viewer

The intuitive and simple-to-use interface of Thinkware dash camera allows you an easy and convenient viewing of your recorded videos. Through PC or Mac viewer, you can playback and download recorded videos. You can also change the dash camera settings, format the memory card, or install updates with just a few clicks on the viewer.

High Dynamic Range

Capture maximum image detail. The dash camera automatically corrects exposure levels with the multi-exposure features, enabling the unit to get a clean image even when light levels are too high of low.

Format Free Technology

Avoid corrupt memory cards and the slow process of having to reformat your SD cards with the free flowing recording system.

One of the most common issues with a dash camera’s reliability is the SD card, these cards are continuously overwritten and often become corrupt if not formatted often. This normally mean that you have to remove the SD card and put it into a computer to reformat it. Thinkware have overcome this vulnerability by making the dash camera pre-allocate the memory, avoiding the need to format the SD card on a regular basis and making the footage easily viewable on our Thinkware viewer software.

High-Temperature Protection System

Protects your dash camera from overheating and causing potentially irreversible damage to it or its data.

The specially designed heat discharge construction and the built-in thermal sensor of the dash camera protects the device and its data against intense heat by automatically turning it off to prevent overheating. All Thinkware cameras use a Super Capacitor, designed with Temperature Protection, for an emergency power sauce in the event of a crash or sudden power loss, allowing the unit to save the last 10 seconds of a incident.
