The SmarTrack 5+IMOB is fully tested and certified to the Thatcham Research S5 standard offering advanced vehicle protection with tracking and intelligent immobilisation. Using GPS/GLONASS positioning alongside GPRS and GSM connectivity, the device delivers reliable, real time monitoring of your vehicle.

The IMOB system enhances security by automatically activating immobilisation whenever the ignition is switched off, which can only be disarmed with the authorised Driver Detection Card or Tag. Its internal backup battery ensures continued operation even if the vehicle’s main power supply is removed. The device also monitors battery voltage, ignition status, and confirms that only approved drivers are operating the vehicle via the driver recognition system,.

Choose Your Driver Recognition System

Tag: The new Driver Detection Tag, made for those who crave convenience. Designed to be easily fixable to key rings and battery powered. If the tracking device does not detect the tag’s presence in the vehicle an alerts will be generated or regarding the S5+ iMOB the vehicle will not start.

Card: For the security conscious, designed to fit in a purse or wallet, credit card sized Driver Detection Card. Fully rechargeable via provided USB charger. If the tracking device does not detect the card in the vehicle, it will generate an alert; for the S5+ iMOB, the vehicle will not start.

D-iD through GTE Track app: For the minimalist that doesn’t want to carry tags and cards and would like to self-authenticate the vehicle’s safety. GTE Track sends push notifications when it detects movement in the vehicle. If safe users can dismiss or ignore the notification. If users feel suspicious, they can press SOS to receive immediate contact.

Flexible Subscriptions: Includes yearly, monthly, 24 and 36 month options and duration of ownership.

In-House Monitoring: 24/7 Secure Control Centre. It allows full monitoring of the device across the UK and Europe and ensures the fastest response to any alerts.

Movement Alerts: If someone moves your vehicle without using the ignition, the Secure Control Centre will contact you to confirm it is safe.

Battery & Anti-Tamper Monitoring: All SmarTrack tracking devices have their own in-built battery backup. Which is activated if the vehicle battery is disconnected or the main power supply to the tracking device is removed. If the battery on the vehicle is disconnected, this will trigger an alert through the Global Telemetrics Secure Control Centre.

Repatriation Network: As well as working with all local and national police forces, Global Telemetrics use independent repatriation investigators around the world to help recover vehicles. These teams have extensive local knowledge and can assist in the recovery of our customers vehicles.
