Night Silent Reverse Alarm
A Night Silent Reverse Alarm is a type of vehicle safety device primarily used in urban or residential areas where noise pollution regulations are strict or where minimising disturbance during night time operations is essential.
Traditional reverse alarms emit a loud beeping sound no matter what time of day it is when a vehicle is reversing, alerting pedestrians and other vehicle of the vehicle’s movement. However, in certain environments such as hospitals, residential neighbourhoods, or areas with high foot traffic, the loud noise generated by traditional reverse alarms can be disruptive and cause annoyance, especially during night time hours.
Night Silent Reverse Alarms are designed to address the issue by providing a quieter alternative. They allow the driver to disable the alarm during restricted hours. The alarm can be wired either via the switch or vehicle headlights to disarm. Instead of emitting a loud beeping noise during the night, these devices often utilise a low-intensity sound which is less disruptive.
