Blackvue Tamper Proof Mounts

The Blackvue Tamper Proof Mounts are an extra accessory specifically made for your Blackvue dash camera. Its purpose is to provide enhanced protection for the essential parts of your device. It consists of a base and a cover piece that are securely joined together using metal screws. The goal is to ensure the integrity and security of the recorded footage from the dash camera.

Included with the Tamper Proof Case is a special allen key, which enables you to tighten or loosen the device as needed, The case is divided into two parts: a left piece and a right piece that perfectly match the shape of your screenless, tubular Blackvue head unit. In addition, for X Series dash cameras, the Tamper Proof case allows you to lock the angle of the front camera for added stability.

Why should i use a Tamper Proof Case?

Your car requires as dash camera, and in turn, the dash camera requires a case that cannot be tampered with.

The accessory is crucial if you want to safeguard the recorded video data captured by the dash camera. It serves to shield the micro SD card slot, prevent disconnection of power and coaxial cable connectors, and ensure the security of the dash camera mount itself.

In the case of a commercial fleet equipped with cameras, where drivers are not allowed to remove footage from the cameras, a tamper proof case can effectively deter unauthorised access to the dash camera’s micro SD card. It is also beneficial for securing your dash cameras SD card to maintain the privacy of your recorded footage. For optimal protection, it is recommended to use it alongside the Blackvue Cloud’s Live Auto Upload and Video Backup feature.

I approached them with a rather radical high concept idea, Dave did a great job taking notes from my extensive brief. He made a great effort to listen and take notes along the way making sure he understood and made suggestions for materials which really led to a much better end product. A particular highlight was a suggestion for them to fabricate a wall mounted Steal Mesh cage system for my equipment which far exceeded my expectations of quality and engineering. During the planning stage and construction suggestions were made to change materials and systems for what they thought would work better for the project as it developed. The end product was perfect and done to a very high standard, it really turned out better than I ever hoped for. Communication throughout was excellent with regular updates, fast responses and easy dialogue when confirming details or discussing changes. Changes were managed quickly and efficiently throughout the build with a great deal of flexibility and professionalism. Even though I was just having just one bespoke build being done for myself I felt highly valued as a customer and treated with the same level of respect and attentiveness as someone ordering a fleet. The quality of work and customer service will certainly mean I’ll be coming back for my next van project.
