CASE STUDY: Welfare Vehicle

We were approached by a customer and asked to design and build a welfare vehicle for their transient workforce to ensure they always have access to a warm space, charging facilities and a hot cup of tea even when working in the remotest locations.

We took a Ford Transit van and fitted seating, fixed and sliding windows, a hot water dispenser, hand washing unit, soap dispenser, microwave, full electrics including inverter, leisure batteries and plug sockets (13a & USB), storage space, interior LED lighting with PIR sensor, a tow bar and a Rhino TowStep.
