This winter we want to make you aware of a crime that is taking place every day, up and down the country. The number of cases reported is only set to increase due to the hours of darkness increasing. Commercial vehicle break-ins is an easy task thieves face when there is no added security on a van and cash bells ring when they discover a treasure trove of tools and materials as they can be sold on very easily and quickly!

Unbeknown to them people are being watched for periods of time by professional thieves who suss out what you carry in your van, what you leave in there overnight and the type of security you have on the van. Not many people’s partners want their hallways full of dirty tools! This kind of crime usually affects the likes of plumbers, electricians, builders etc.

The best way to prevent this happening to you is to invest in added security such as slamlocks, deadlocks and protection plates.
