5 Ways to Protect your Vehicle from Criminals

5 Ways to Protect your Vehicle from Criminals

1. Deadlocks

These high-security locks offer fantastic protection against thieves, especially when installed at a high level. High-level lock installation will ensure protection against the ever-popular ‘Peel and Steal’ method of breaking into a van. We offer Thatcham insurance approved deadlocks which may reduce your insurance premium.

2. Slamlocks

The fact that Slamlocks are designed to automatically lock vehicle load doors after they have been shut makes them incredibly popular with couriers. Once again, we offer a Thatcham approved version of the Slamlocks.

3. Rep-locks

These vehicle locks are designed to cover any damage caused by previous break-ins, while also providing high security and a visual deterrent to prospective criminals. The Rep-locks can be linked to the central locking system and should be used alongside deadlocks to maximise security. Please not: rep-locks are only available for Ford Transit and Custom models.

4. Security Boxes

We offer security boxes in various sizes from Armoguard, Van Vault and TuffBoxes. These offer a last line of defence against thieves – if they have managed to gain access to your van then these boxes will definitely leave them stumped!

5. Alarms and Immobilisers

Having an alarm and immobiliser fitted is a great way to give you peace-of-mind. They are a great deterrent to thieves and can also reduce your insurance premium. Visit our Alarms and Immobilisers page for more information
